Metro Train Art- Nexus

I’m so happy I was comissioned by Nexus, along with four other artists to create artwork for the new fleet of Metro trains coming to the region.

It has been an amazing experience working with Sofia Barton, Bryony Simcox and Hazel Oakes-aka Nocciola the Drawer and seeing the different ways we have approached the brief to depict a sense of place.

The artwork will be on permanent display throughout the 46 new trains of the Tyne and Wear Metro system in North East England as the new fleet enters service this year.
